Why are so many of the same people ?

Why are so many of the same people who believe that Obama won't raise taxes on those earning less than 250K also the same people who believe that OJ didn't murder his wife & was still looking for her killer also the same people who refused to believe that MJ was a pedophile despite the fact that MJ admitted before millions on national TV that he often slept in the same bed in his underwear with other people's young children and saw nothing wrong with it ?
