Why does McCain think he's so great just because he was a POW?

10/4 on that ! My thoughts exactly. A better pilot would not have gotten shot down in the first place. I read somewhere that he crashed 4 other planes while on duty, but I can't substantiate that. Either way, bringing that up repeatedly is a ploy to gather sympathy, and veteran's votes.
