Americans, will your egos be hurt when China overtakes America as the global economic superpower?

Chinese people make around $ 2500 a year per person, global economic superpower??? How did you figure that?? In our country, wealth is divided among the individuals, in China, the wealth is solely owned by the gov't. They have the lowest productivity (per person) & creativity (piracy doesn't count). You can't be a superpower if your people are poor. Russia, Does that ring a bell? You really have to live in China for a long time in order to know the days in & days out, it's nothing like what the TV news tell you! They are just ...news!
